Portsmouth Listens Candidates Forum, Rod Doherty fosters NH

Portsmouth Listens Candidates Forum My name is Peter Macdonald and I am a U.S. Marine and I am running for NH State Senate District 21. Since coming back in 74 from my overseas tour during the Vietnam Conflict I have tried to volunteer almost every day helping others. A lot of my Volunteer work has been in schools, community, (parent child and elderly) mediation and others. I have been asked to answer three critical challenges in the state. My first would be the NH Supreme Court refusing to hear cases where a judge clearly and with intent to harm violates the Constitution. Judge Peter Fauver knowingly allowed the Madbury NH selectmen to take land from local residents using the trusted power of government for personal gain and revenge. The NH SC refused to hear the case as a cover up because the evidence present in the case file was too overwhelming and clearly a crime against the peace and dignity of the state. My second challenge would be too much government spending on graft and political pet projects. Finding our way back to a no thrills government where government officials serve the people not control and master. Examples are the Blue Wall of the police protecting each other over the guaranteed rights of the individual. I would see that judges like Fauver are held to a high standard when they commit crimes using their position protecting the citizens against injustice. A conflict of interest exists when the NH SC refuses to hear a case where Judge Fauver clearly with intent to harm violated our highest law the Constitution. My third critical challenge is schools and funding. My years of volunteering have allowed me to receive advice and learn from some of the greatest minds. We need to restructure our funding of schools to where the state give each school board money for each child’s education equal across the state. We need to make the property tax for running the local communities and not the schools. A tax on every person living and/or working in the state of NH would be placed. The average cost across the state for each student is the maximum money collected any year. That money is equally divided for each student per day in school. If a school wants to spend more on their school they fund it themselves. I would go to each school and talk to the staff for communication is the way to solve problems in a civilized society. I write this letter today because I just received the question from the Candidates Forum and I want the newspapers to see publicly there is no libel in telling the truth. For the newspapers to believe censoring my words is the proper way to protect the character of government officials with good reputation is just plain wrong. I am a US Marine 100% disabled from combat related disabilities and you allowed our government to stop my medical care until I stop writing opinion letters just like this one on government wrongs. I saw in the paper today Rod Doherty showing off two awards for the Fosters excellence in news reporting. This is a paper that censors the words of a candidate for NH State Senate and believes they are doing it to protect the public from the dangers they want you to believe this individual is. If I can say this at the public candidates forum why censor my words. Biased news reporting such as the Fosters must be stopped.
