Newspapers out right refuse to print my opinion letters of government wrongs. My wife tells me that the VA was once bad to veterans but now every person that she has met there has been supper nice. It just has to be me. I tell my wife every day how lucky I am for what she puts up with concerning my mental and physical disabilities. I thank her because with out her beauty, charm and personality to tolerate I would have committed suicide many years ago. My thanks are said every day to the people around me for they are what we were created to keep free and safe. I volunteer to help others no matter the difficulty or the pain involved for to volunteer is giving from the heart to make this world a better place even if only for a short time. I have volunteered since coming back in seventy-four almost every day.
There can be many true breakthroughs in treating combat related PTSD or even TBI. To love and share life every day with your best friend as I with my wife truly is a blessing. I for year never let anyone see my flashbacks or if possible my pain from my service connected disabilities until NH put me in jail as a terrorist. Being content to have such a wonderful life and volunteering to help others was my gift to all those over the history of the USA that gave their lives for what we have. Our lives back here must not let what so many gave: be in vain for, because we forgot to respect and honor our Constitution. My heart is always open and truly gives to friend and foe as I communicate in a civilized manner. My wife will tell you she puts up with me because I communicate and truly with out reflection for other’s feelings tell the truth and always have my hands out to help all.
Volunteering to help others is not just when it is easy. Helping this Madbury NH family stop government wrongs is our obligation as defined in our Constitution. The VA using my medical care under the clause safety to stop my opinion letters of government wrongs can never be tolerated. My volunteering to help others cannot be contingent upon my own comfort and safety. NH put me in jail and took my freedom for six months only to drop the bogus charges four days before trial because I would not give in. We cannot let rogue government officials diminish our Constitution just for our own self-gain.
The newspapers are partly the blame as at the VA last week sitting in the canteen talking to another vet while waiting for my wife getting her broken wrist fixed. My wife came in and sat to have a cup of coffee with me. The other Vet was telling me of all the rejections and no treatment for his service connected disabilities that did not show up for years after discharge. My wife got up through her coffee away and said it was time to go. Out in the car she informed me talking bad about the VA when she has seen nothing but friendly helpful people is wrong. The helpful friendly people are the medical staff that takes care of the patients but the VA is made up of others that look for ways to harm veterans under the label safety and budget. To focus on one treatment or side as the news is doing leaves many to suffer in silence as ignorant people can see no difference. Love is hearing what the other person is saying not just listening.
