Veteran stories

Veteran stories
I read all the ceremonies given to veterans in the paper today but not one veteran’s opinion letter was printed. Each article commented on how we need to let the US Military Veteran tell their stories. Your avenues for the Veteran to speak are cut short or eliminated to protect the public from such atrocities. If a veteran does speak to listen to such events that there can be no conceivable human possibility of it happening brings disbelief and patronizing. Some people that never served always ask if you killed anyone and if so how did if feel? The pride that I felt when I first came back of my first kill got me the nickname baby killer. The enormous pride of being sent as American Advisor on Convoy with nationals that only one or two spoke broken English never left me. The conference and pride is overwhelmed by the never ending reminder of this is the end every second of every day. I will not return from this mission alive or maybe not at all. One night deep in the bush of Cambodia I was taken from a friendly village that the convoy stopped at. Many clicks into the bush we stopped at the gooks campsite. When two fell asleep I freed my hands, snuck up on the third and stuck my bayonet in him. He looked to be about ten yr-old. I was seventeen but looked to be about ten yr-old also. I took my M-16 and ran through the bush back to the village to get moving again. People want to hear the blood and gut stories but never seem to realize the human factor of all your civilized human safe guards no longer exist as this will get us incrassated or worse yet rejected from the society and people we wanted so desperately to return to. The ceremonies and wanting us to speak are a start but if the fear of emotionless true feelings and the inconceivable atrocities violate this civilized societies laws and moral beliefs what is the point. Our opinion of the harm government wrongs inflicted on us is censored from the newspapers for the fear such an impact the truth would have on the special class of society.
You the people of the USA stopped my medical care because I dare write of the NH Supreme Court violating the Constitution to protect a brother judge/attorney. Judge Peter Favuer criminally violated the Constitution to enable the Madbury NH selectmen to take from local residents for their own personal self-gain. The newspapers censor my opinion for the fear of what it might do to the powerful special class. My mental and physical service connected disabilities are being used by government entities to stop my free speech.
The ceremonies given to veterans are nice but you have to learn to respect what we did it for and accept us coming home no matter what the atrocities of the war or conflict are. WE did it for the right of any US citizen to have the freedom to speak of government wrongs publicly even if it is the NH Supreme Court being exposed for criminal wrongs. The Constitution has to protect us all equally and that is what it is all about. What is the point of speaking if you do not hear? To censor our words is in conflict with our ability to speak, so what is your point?
