Lee NH building inspector and editors
Lee Building Inspector and editors
Last week Allen with arm police present you stopped at 101 Stepping Stone rd to tell me to stop cutting trees. State approval for the Veteran Resort-Chapel had not been received yet. We agreed at that time to meet today Monday Sept 24. It is my pleasure to announce to the town of Lee and the world that 101 Stepping Stone rd that consists of eleven-acres is now a Religious Sanctuary approved by the State of NH. It is a place for mentally and or physically handicapped US Military Veterans to find their own God in their own way and try to accept and learn to manage the effects of serving in the U. S. Armed Forces to defend and protect the USA. Last week I informed the Lee Selectmen of what is happening on this property but the news media is censoring any news concerning this 100% combat related disabled US Marine from the public. Allen you have known me for many years and in a way I consider you a friend. I have volunteered over the years to help many Lee residents with everyday needs and I do it with pride to show respect to all those that did not come home. In my wildest dreams I do not understand why you needed and armed Police Officer to talk with me.
Article 5 Part First-bill of rights NH Constitution (Religious Freedom Recognized) we can work together to build the best possible place for homeless, and/or mentally-physically disabled US Military Veterans to call home or with in the law will do it with out the town of Lee’s input. The newspapers censoring their own readers from any knowledge of a Veteran helping other Veterans has been to slow up any help coming to the homeless veterans dying on the streets in the nation that we did it for. Changing the attitude of those that never served to actually seeing the horrors of war is a determent we that have been there cannot give you. I can write about it but cannot talk to others of the difficulties face to face of what I have done. The pride of being a US Marine or any service member is built on those uncivilized actions to stop an enemy that has a different moral attitude. Your need for an armed Police Officer to be present highlights the lack of understanding I have so referred to of our last conversation and those that never served.
Preserving nature and building 12’x24’ cabins and a 16’x24’ Chapel in the woods on eleven-acres must work to benefit Lee Residents as well as the entire State while helping those that gave everything for the USA have a place to call home and live what life they can in the best possible way. They will need a handicapped access down to the water and paths through the property to see God any way possible without those that never served comments or shame for what we did dominating our existence. Coming back to the world and trying to adjust to a society that in a way will never accept what we did is the hardest part of trying to fit in back here. I hope you understand and work with me a Veteran helping Veterans have a place to call home. I also hope with this letter no more armed P O’s are needed as we see each other in the future. Violence can never be a part of a civilized society is something that I firmly believe.
