Berlin NH a sweet lady, andrea Bulfinch, Fosters daily democrat dover nh, Chris Sununu
Berlin NH
A lady read the article re-printed from Fosters by reporter Andrea Bulfinch on my building cabins in the woods for homeless US Military Veterans. This lady called me to see if there was anything she could do to help. Most readers will not see the greatness in the jester because they will not realized the three hour drive between where the cabins will be built in Lee to her town Berlin NH. I thanked her but said we were in the beginning stages and I would keep her offer in mind if we get to that stage. I also told her how important it would be to write an opinion letter about the Cabins in the woods for homeless Veterans because the editors refuse to print my letters. This ladies phone call meant a great deal to me as encouragement. This is the importance of the news media informing the public of such events. I have been at a low point in my life for the past couple of weeks laid up with pain from my broken back. My other three Marine Corps disabilities were taken over my life along with the back. I am again moving around as a normal human being wearing my back brace. If there was some way for me to thank this lady and the editors of the Berlin Newspaper that printed Fosters reporter Bulfinch’s article on the subject of homeless veteran cabins in the woods at 101 Stepping Stone Rd lee NH I would.
I found this lady conversation interesting because she talked about seeing homeless Veterans living in the woods in the winter in one of NH’s northern most cities. It has always been her concern to do something to stop this but never new what. The article gave her a sort of peace knowing that other people were seeing the problem and doing something. Communication is why stopping ignorance by informing every reader the truth begins the best solution to a lot of wrongs in this world. I am not looking for donations but maybe some day when my wife’s and my life savings run out we may need that. At this point communication where the public is informed through newspaper articles other people’s opinion letters or just talking to others of what they read in the paper will expose this wrong of homeless US Military Veterans in NH and the USA.
I have received quit a few phone calls from Irate people that a 100% disabled US Military Veteran living off our government pension could cut trees and work with a chain saw. My Combat related disabilities came at four separate missions during my tour. I am disabled not dead. I paid with some of the worst pain imaginable these past weeks from my helping Rick Stevens that volunteered his time and machine to clear the lot of trees and stumps and also put the drive way in with the donation of material from P&S Sand & Gravel Rt. 125 Barrington NH. I came back overseas as the MC dumped me into a world with nothing. I have been homeless living on the streets at one point. If I can suffer with my disabilities and put a little effort into giving my brother US Military Veterans hope in coming home this it is my duty to do so. I guess in a way I was depressed by all the negative phone calls about Andrea Bulfinch’s article where the readers only saw a disabled person doing something constructive with their lives. The one positive phone call just happens to come from a lady a three-hour drive away. This is why I thank the Berlin newspaper and this sweet lady. I also want to thank Andrea Bulfinch and the Fosters of Dover NH for the original article .
